Designing Team-Based Learning for Interprofessional Education

Dear colleagues,

I would like to invite you to my upcoming TBL workshop on Designing Team-Based Learning for Interprofessional Education, happening on Aug 20 (Wed) at 11 am EDT/4 pm BST. I will facilitate this session with my colleagues Drs. Burns and Hoeft.

We will share practical strategies to design and facilitate TBL sessions that foster equitable engagement and collaboration across healthcare disciplines.

Learning objectives

● Understand the role of ad hoc teams in interprofessional education
● Learn strategies for effective ad hoc team formation in TBL
● Identify team development stages and support effective collaboration
● Explore facilitation techniques that promote equity across professions

You can register for the session here.

We hope to see you there!

Cordially,

Jared Van Hooser

Dear Jared

Thank you for your invite. I am a lecturer in TBL at Brunel University of London. I mainly facilitate TBL sessions in healthcare programmes.

We are thinking of using the TBL approach for IPL collaborative sessions and therefore your session is very appealing to me. However, I will be travelling on that day and unfortunately I am not able to attend. Would it be possible to record this session so that I can listen to it later, please?

Many thanks,

Natalie

Hi Natalie!

Yes, the recording of the session will be later available on our video library section. However, please note that since the event is going to be conducted in a TBL-style, we will not have the breakout room recording. Thus, in the future, we would strongly recommend that you attend the live sessions, whenever you can, to get the most out of our TBL-styled workshops
