Greetings
Just one day left for our upcoming customer demo session with @nancihaze from Boston College - Connell School of Nursing.
During this session, Professor Haze will talk about how she uses InteDashboard in her Team-Based Learning teaching approach for graduate and undergraduate nursing students. She will also talk about how she transitioned from IF-AT scratch-off cards to InteDashboard and how it has optimized her TBL teaching.

During this session with Professor Haze, participants gained valuable insights into her Team-Based Learning teaching approach with InteDashboard.
InteDashboard makes team management for Professor Haze seamless, streamlining the process of creating teams for RATs, applications, and peer evaluations. With a simple CSV import of student details, team formation becomes effortless.
For Readiness Assurance Tests (RATs), Professor Haze views live as students are completing the activities and then compares each question’s fail rate as they take the same test in teams. This way she’s able to see where the distractors are. Since it’s also time-based, it also helps her to see how much time students are taking to complete a particular question.
For Applications, Professor Haze usually has 4 application activities per class, timed about 10 minutes to answer 5 questions. InteDashboard has augmented her higher-level application activities as well. Not only InteDashboard supports the 4S application activities, but it also enables Professor Haze to set a time in which she wants the students to take doing a particular activity. If halfway through the activity she notices that the majority of the teams have not put their responses yet, she adds more time through the timer.
Finally, the E-Gallery Walk feature facilitates interactive learning experiences, enabling students to share and evaluate open-ended responses collaboratively. Professor Haze finds this functionality particularly beneficial for promoting critical thinking and peer-to-peer engagement within her classes.
What is your approach to TBL? What strategies have been proven successful?
