ETBLC Manchester Symposium 2024

We are delighted to announce that the University of Manchester, UK, will be hosting the prestigious 2024 European Team-Based Learning Symposium in collaboration with the ETBLC. This event presents a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about Team-Based Learning to showcase their expertise by submitting an abstract. Submission opens 18th March 2024
Submission deadline: Monday, 8 April 2024
Notification to submitters: 22 April – 24 April 2024

Submits revised abstracts and bios: 24 April – 18 May 2024

@shreya @lmichaelsen we have so far only had a handful of abstracts for in-person presentations for the European TBL Collaborative / UnIversity of Manchester symposium in July… We’d love to extend the opportunity to connect with our friends across the pond but realize that the price and environmental impact of traveling so far is prohibitive.

Would welcome your advice on hybrid conferences, or whether we might consider an option of an Online Afternoom for remote engagement within the Programme.

Please do share the info re the symposium far and wide :star: closing date for abstracts is 8th April but we may have to extend

Hi Laura,

Hope you don’t mind a quick side comment to this. Firstly, probably a lot of abstracts will come in at the last minute (mine certainly will!). Secondly, if you do decide to go the hybrid route I would be very supportive - this worked really well for the recent Australian conference (Sandy Cook organised this I think).

Hi @Heblau I agree with @SteveCayzer on both the points. For the hybrid conference, I would be happy to share and brainstorm ideas. I loved how @SandyCook and Annette organised the hybrid session during TBLC APC Symposium.
