New TBL Research article - Assessing Gains from TBL in Microeconomics

I am pleased to share that my recent research, “Assessing gains from team-based learning in microeconomics” with Devon Gorry has been published in the Journal of Economic Education.

I spent four semesters teaching back-to-back classes, one using TBL and the other doing everything as much the same as possible except for the formal team structure. We compared academic differences as well as differences in responses to pre- and post-survey questions about working with others and development of critical thinking skills.
