New TBL Publications and in-person TBL Faculty Development

Dear TBLers

I thought I’d share some recent publications that might be of interest to you and share some news about a new training and consultancy company I’ve recently launched that focuses primarily (for now at least ) on ‘in person’ TBL Faculty Development.

1. Using Educational Evidence to design curricula: I co-authored a paper with Professor John Purvis entitled “Using Educational Evidence and Learning Theories to Design a Pharmacy Curriculum,” published in the International Journal of Pharmacy Practice in September.

2. Using TBL for professional development: Today, our paper with Rachel Wood, “Team-Based Learning for Professional Development: Optimising Everyone’s Potential in the Workforce,” has been published.

3. Using TBL in schools (K-12): This paper explores the teacher experiences of introducing TBL into schools, “Improved learning outcomes and teacher experiences: A qualitative student of Team-Based Learning in secondary schools"

Finally If you or your faculty need help, support or in-person training in TBL, then do explore my new training and consultancy company’s website https://talenteducation.co.uk/ or email me at the address below

Best wishes

Simon Tweddell
