During our recent 3rd Annual AI in Team-Based Learning Survey Results webinar, one discussion stood out: How do we teach students to use AI responsibly while still developing critical thinking?
Participants shared practical strategies, including teaching prompt engineering, encouraging students to verify AI-generated responses and identify hallucinations, and positioning AI as a learning assistant—not a replacement for thinking.
They also recommended AI learning resources such as Google courses (e.g., Google AI Educator Series), Microsoft Learn (Introduction to AI Literacy), Anthropic Academy (AI Fluency: Framework & Foundations), and Heicoders Academy’s Generative AI for Automation and Productivity course.
